Working with the Canvas

The Diagrams tab renders every view on an interactive canvas built for review sessions: pan, zoom, fullscreen, and a minimap for orientation on large designs. The canvas's real feature is that nothing on it is dead ink; every element answers for itself.

Click Anything

Selecting an element opens its rationale panel:

Section What It Tells You
Purpose and choice What the component is for and why this technology was chosen
Status chips Selected or gap, architect override, already in use, trust zone, at-rest posture
Vendor leverage The contract this choice rides, with discount and renewal
Satisfies The requirements and controls this component answers for
Informed By The knowledge documents behind the choice

This is the panel to drive in an architecture review: every "why is this here?" has its answer one click away, with sources.

Views and Depth

Switch between the four C4 views at the top of the canvas. On the Container view, applications with real internal structure can be decomposed in place to their component level when the conversation needs it, and left folded when it does not.

Delivery Progress on the Picture

Once a delivery plan is exported, per-component badges show build progress directly on the canvas: planned, in progress, or done from your tracker's own statuses. The architecture picture and the delivery reality stop being two separate conversations.
